| Class #9 - Windmill House Taught by
Karen Cary Cost: $120.00 Scale: 1/4" Start Time: 9AM (Full Day Class) JThis charming windmill has an architecture design of the Smock Windmill that consists of a sloping, horizontally weather-boarded or shingled tower, with six sides. This three story windmill has fan blades that actually turn using a battery operated motor. The workshop comes complete with everything shown in the picture that you will need to build your new windmill except the landscaping. Along with all the Laser-cut wood parts the kit includes the windows, doors, shingles, base and battery operated motor to complete your project. This type of windmill got its name from its resemblance to smocks worn by farmers in an earlier period where they were common until they reached their heyday in the earlier part of the 19th century. This will be a fun class and you will learn to install a motor and a battery pack. Lights can easily be added later at home. please email me if you have any questions about tools or supplies needed minis@karencary.com Click on the Picture for additional images and a list of tools needed. |
