Plan to bring a basic tool kit, unless the instructor has specified what to
bring on the page with their pictures.
Walk-ins for Friday classes are allowed, but we cannot guarantee
all teachers will be able to accommodate them.

Class #1 - A Day of Toys by Valerie Casson - Session 1: Theatre & Pull Horse
Cost: $42.00 Scale: 1" Time: 1pm to 4pm This class is for a Puppet theater of Valerie’s own design, but based on a traditional toy
Theater. The structure and paint will be supplied. The horse is metal, which will be undercoated
For the students, so it can be finished in the required color way. The base and wheels can be
Painted any color.

Class #2 - A Day of Toys by Valerie Casson - Session 2: Toy Fort & Jack in the Box
Cost: $47.00 Scale: 1" Time: 5pm to 9pm This is a toy fort, based on a 1910 German original. Made of wood and plastic. The Jack in the Box is ceramic, fabric, and wood and is quite an intense class. It can be finished in a variety of ways to make it very individual.

Class #3 - Chess Board by Layne Halliday
Cost: $62.00 Scale: 1" Time: Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Layne Halliday has designed this lovely hinged chess board for your enjoyment.
The chess board is crafted from exotic woods, which means no two chess boards will be exactly alike. Students will learn how to line up the inlaid squares onto the board as well as how to use a miter box with a stop block. Hinges will be provided for the sides of the folding board. Layne is well known for her fine inlaid furniture and promises you will take home a lovely example.

Class #4 - Millinery Confections by Deb Laue
Cost: $85.00 Scale: 1" Time: 11:30am - 4:30pm
Learn the basics of hat making by creating hats from a variety of materials (straw, suede paper, etc). Design and create a display with coordinating accessories. Gloves, purses, hatboxes and a few surprises are just a few of the confections you will have fun making in this great relaxing class that is perfect for all skill levels.

Class #5 - Wrong Way Witch by Marsha Mees
Cost: $42.00 Scale: 1" Time: Noon to 4pm
In this class students will construct a witch who has crashed herself into what ever item the student brings--be it a door or pumpkin as is pictured. The students will leave with a completed “ Wrong Way Witch.”

Class #6 - “Do It Yourself” Reupholstery by Judy Kincaid
Back by popular demand! Cost: $75.00 Scale: 1" Time: 11am to 4pm
This delightful class, back by popular demand, will be taught by Judy Kincaid of Brooke Tucker Originals. You will receive a handsome Bespaq wing chair (retail value $49.00) and a piece of fine upholstery fabric that you will select from a wide variety of colors and fabrics provided. You will learn the most efficient way to remove the current upholstery, cut your new fabric and recover your chair. There are no required supplies, but you may bring your own fabric if you wish (1/8 yard, lightweight natural fabrics – cotton or silk – work best). There is no pre-work required, but you will be asked to bring a basic set of tools.

Class #7 - 1/4" Sea Shell Stand by Sharon Granicy
Cost: $32.00 Scale: 1/4" Time: 11:30am to 2:30pm
Sharon's first class is a sea shell stand and all the sea shells are 1/4" scale or smaller. Students will assemble the stand, paint and age. Accessories include 2 sea shell wind chimes, counter displays, a coral display with fish and shells, and a pot filled with shells. Students will leave with a finished project.

Class #8 - 1/4" Scale Flower Making Made Easy by Sharon Granicy
Cost: $63.00 Scale: 1/4" Time: 3:30pm to 9:30pm
Sharon will be teaching a class showcasing new flowers and plants. Students will be able to make 2 potted grapes vines. 2 potted pansy, 3 potted iris, 1 potted gardenia and 1 potted geranium plus one surprise flower. All materials will be provided along with instructions.

Class #9 - Assemble and Dress a 5 1/2" Renaissance Jester with Bauble by Judy Orr
Cost: $132.00 Scale: 1" Time: 11:30am until finished
This class is for an adorable jester suitably dressed for Court. Students will assemble and dress the piece. The throne shown in the picture is not included but is available for purchase at the class.
