Proceed South on 101. Exit onto Hiway 880 South toward Santa Cruz and Los Gatos. In about 4 exits you will exit onto Hiway 280 South. Exit at "Vine St. Almaden Blvd.". Stay in left lane. Go through signal at Vine St. and immediately turn left onto S. Almaden Blvd. Turn right onto West San Carlos. Entrance to the Convention center is on your right. Find Parking.
Alternatively you can exit from Hiway 101 onto Hiway 85 in Mountain View, and then take Hiway 280 South into San Jose. See 280 South instructions below.
I do not recommend taking Hiway 87 from 101 going south, as there is a great deal of construction and confusion this year, as well as all the airport traffic.
Proceed North on 101. Exit onto Hiway 280 North toward San Francisco. Exit at "Guadalupe Parkway, North 87". Stay in right lane. Exit at first exit, "Santa Clara St. Downtown San Jose". Stay in right lane. Turn right at signal onto W. Santa Clara St. Stay in right lane. Turn right onto Almaden Blvd. Turn left onto West San Carlos. Entrance to the Convention center is on your right. Alternatively, you can stay on Hiway 101 up to Hiway 880 and take Hiway 880 South towards Santa Cruz and Los Gatos. See directions above regarding 880 to 280 to show.
Proceed North on 280. Exit at "Guadalupe Parkway, North 87". Stay in right lane. Exit at first exit, "Santa Clara St. Downtown San Jose". Stay in right lane. Turn right at signal onto W. Santa Clara St. Stay in right lane. Turn right onto Almaden Blvd. Turn left onto West San Carlos. Find Parking. Entrance to the Convention center is on your right.

Leaving terminal A or the car rental area, turn left at Airport Parkway, and then right onto Guadalupe Parkway, which is Hiway 87. Exit to the right at the Park Ave. exit. Stay in left lane. At signal turn left onto Park Ave. The corner of Park and Almaden is in 2 blocks. Turn right onto Almaden Blvd. Turn left onto West San Carlos. Entrance to the Convention center is on your right. Find Parking.
Leaving terminal C turn left at Airport Blvd, right at Airport Parkway. From there follow the directions above for terminal A or the car rental area.
